Uploading garments to render

Supported File Formats

From your collection, upload the file you want to render. We currently support uploads of CLO and GLB files in the following formats:

  • .zprj
  • .zpac
  • .glb

Creating garments for the best renders

Twyle uses the information in your file to render your garment. An overview of our recommendations for the best results is available.

Exporting information from CLO can cause issues. Some issues we see frequently include:

  • missing inside material
  • a graphic showing on both sides of the material
  • missing trims (this is a packing issue)

It is important to note that render-only materials are not supported for exporting from CLO and are therefore not available to render in Twyle.

As an individual user you have the option to set up your files differently, or engage our Quality assurance team for a small surcharge of credits.

Uploading

From a Collection you can start to upload files. Alternatively, you can start from the main page. You will be able to choose which collection to add the Garment to.

For each Garment the name is pre-filled with the file name. Choose the appropriate Avatar and Category from the available list. SKU is an optional field that can be left blank. This data will be used to export your render with the correct name and to make the correct templates available.

Copy the details of a garment to the whole list of uploads via the copy icon on the right.

Minimizing the upload page

Since these files can be quite large, it is possible to minimize the view after filling in the Garment details. Continue with managing your Garments while new files are uploaded in the background. Once the upload is done, the file is automatically added to the chosen Collection and the upload view is closed.

Edit colorways

A CLO file will now be processed to find the Colorways inside. (A GLB does not include colorways.) The Colorway name is also pre-filled from the file. Edit the garment from the Collection to change this name, or optionally add an EAN. This data will be used to export your render with the correct name.

Upload and render before processing

It is possible to submit a Garment for rendering before it is done processing to find the colorways inside. To this end, you can also upload files in the first step of the Create renders flow. The steps are the same as uploading through a collection.
